This Privacy Policy explains how Trip Adventure (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects your information when you visit our website and when you contact us to book activities in Hurghada, Egypt. We are an Egyptian company and handle personal data in line with applicable Egyptian laws and good international practice for transparency and security.

2) What data we collect

• Contact & booking details: name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, hotel, dates, number of guests, preferred trip and options.
• Communications: messages you send by email, contact forms, WhatsApp, phone, or social media.
• Technical data: IP address, device/browser type, pages viewed, timestamps and referring pages (used for security and basic analytics).
• Media you provide: optional photos or special requests relevant to your booking (e.g., accessibility needs).
• Cookies: small files stored on your device (see “Cookies” below).

3) How we use your data (Purposes)

• Bookings & customer care: to answer inquiries, reserve trips, arrange transfers, and manage changes/cancellations.
• Operations & safety: to coordinate with guides/boats/spa partners and ensure safe, smooth experiences.
• Payments & invoices (if applicable): to issue confirmations and comply with tax/record requirements.
• Website security & performance: to protect our site, prevent abuse, and improve content and usability.
• Legal compliance: to respond to lawful requests or protect our rights.

4) Legal bases we rely on

We process data because it is necessary to provide the services you request (pre-contract/contract), because we have a legitimate interest in secure and efficient operations (e.g., security, basic analytics, customer support), and/or because you consent (e.g., when you submit a form or click to chat via WhatsApp). Where required by your local law, you may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

5) Sharing your data

We share data only when necessary:

• Service providers: hosting, analytics, communications and IT support working under confidentiality (see below).
• Local partners: transportation, boat/yacht operators, spa/wellness centers—only the details needed to fulfill your booking.
• Legal: if required to comply with applicable law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.

Our key providers

• Hosting: Namecheap (Stellar Web Hosting, EU data center).
• Analytics: WP Statistics by VeronaLabs (data stored on our server; no tracking profiles across sites).
• Maps (optional): Google Maps to display locations (loads your IP address to Google servers when you open a map).
• Messaging: WhatsApp/Meta when you choose to contact us via WhatsApp.

6) International transfers

Some providers (e.g., Google/Meta) may process data on servers outside Egypt. We enable such services only where needed (e.g., when you open a Google Map or choose to chat via WhatsApp). If you prefer no third-country transfer, please avoid opening embedded maps and contact us by phone or email instead.

7) Data retention

We keep booking and invoice data as long as needed for operations and legal/tax records. Inquiry emails/messages are kept for a reasonable period to assist with follow-ups, then deleted or archived securely. Technical logs rotate regularly. If you ask us to delete data, we will do so unless we must retain certain records for legal reasons.

8) Your choices & rights

• Access / correction: ask what data we hold and to correct inaccuracies.
• Deletion: request deletion where no longer needed and not required to be kept by law.
• Objection / restriction: object to certain processing or ask us to limit it, where applicable.
• Consent withdrawal: where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

9) Cookies

10) Contact forms, email & phone

If you contact us via form, email or phone, we use the data you provide to respond and to handle bookings. We do not share such data with third parties other than the partners required to fulfill your request (e.g., transfer or tour provider).

11) WhatsApp

If you click our WhatsApp link, you will use WhatsApp’s service under their terms and privacy policy. We will see the phone number and any message you send. Please avoid sending sensitive data over chat. You may switch to email or phone at any time.

12) Google Maps

When you open a page with an embedded Google Map, your IP address and limited device details may be sent to Google to load the map tiles and fonts. If you prefer to avoid this, please do not open embedded maps; we can share directions by email instead.

13) Children’s privacy

Our website is for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without the consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us so we can address it.

14) Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., SSL/TLS, access controls) to protect data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we strive to protect your information to the best of our ability.
